Nothing to leak, because nothing leaves
ChickyListy was built around one simple promise: what happens inside your home stays on your home... phone. This policy is short because there's remarkably little to explain — we don't collect anything, so there's nothing to protect except your peace of mind.
Information We Collect
We don't collect any personal information, full stop. ChickyListy never asks for your name, email, phone number, or location. The photos you take of a countertop, a tile, or a suspicious hallway smudge are yours, taken by you, for you — they never travel anywhere to reach us. There's no sign-up screen because there's no account to protect.
How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to use. We don't analyze your photos, study your move-in vs. move-out comparisons, or sell, rent, or trade anything to advertisers. If you're wondering what we do with your room records — the honest answer is nothing, because we never see them.
Data Storage
Every photo, note, date stamp, and comparison you create is stored locally, directly on your device, inside the app's own private storage space. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud service and nothing is mirrored anywhere outside your phone unless you personally choose to export or share it yourself.
Third-Party Services
ChickyListy doesn't embed third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or behavioral trackers. We don't measure how long you linger on the "Bathroom" tab, and we don't share device identifiers with anyone, because no pipeline exists for that data to travel through.
Data Security
The best security is the kind that doesn't need to defend a target. Since your room records and photos never leave your device, they're protected by the same lock screen, passcode, or biometric guard you already use to protect your phone — no separate password, no separate account to be compromised.
Children's Privacy
ChickyListy is built for people navigating a lease, not a lunchbox — but our practice holds no matter who opens the app: we do not knowingly, or unknowingly, collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is simply no data collection mechanism at all.
Your Control
You're always the sole keeper of your own move-in and move-out records. Because everything lives locally, clearing your information is as simple as removing entries within the app or uninstalling ChickyListy altogether — either action removes the data from your device completely, with no lingering account or cloud copy to ask us to erase.
Changes to This Policy
Should ChickyListy's features ever grow in a way that changes how information is handled, we'll update this policy and revise the Effective Date above, so you can see at a glance that something changed and come back to check what.
